The name Shephead is derived from the term Shepherd Head—a compound descriptor representing the dual reality carried by every leader called to navigate both spiritual care and institutional responsibility.
Care & Faithfulness
Shepherd
Represents the calling to protect, nourish, lead, and serve people with humility, patience, and personal devotion to Christ.
Authority & Stewardship
Head
Represents the obligation to exercise authority, make hard decisions, manage capital, drive strategy, and bear responsibility for outcomes.
Most business leadership resources focus exclusively on the “Head”—strategy, scale, and performance. Most spiritual resources focus exclusively on the “Shepherd”—personal character, inner peace, and devotional life.
Shephead exists at the intersection.
It is a platform for leaders who carry the weight of both roles simultaneously. We do not offer quick hacks, generic encouragement, or polished victory stories. We explore the hard-won wisdom forged when faithful stewardship meets real-world accountability.

A note from the host
I’ve spent much of my life learning what it means to follow Christ—not only in what I believe, but in how I serve, lead, build, and relate to people.
Through ministry, work, entrepreneurship, and leadership, I’ve found myself carrying real responsibility for people, projects, resources, and decisions. Those experiences have continually brought me back to the same question: what does discipleship actually look like when people are depending on you, especially when they may not share or understand the biblical principles shaping how you lead?
I’ve learned that following biblical principles is one thing when you’re surrounded by people who share them, and another when you’re leading and working alongside people who don’t. There is a particular kind of tension in trying to approach a difficult conversation, a leadership decision, a business opportunity, or a conflict through the lens of Scripture while working with people who may see the situation very differently.
I don’t have all the answers. I’m still learning.
Shephead is my attempt to learn alongside other Christian leaders who have carried responsibility themselves—to hear what they’ve discovered about faith, leadership, work, and following Christ when it matters.
These are conversations I want to have, and I suspect I’m not the only one who wants to hear them.
